Scroll down We are a Czech based company which is operating in waste resource management around the globe. Waste has become one of the biggest international issues – with increasing population, the need for products and rising supply and demand; today we produce around 2.01 billion metric tons of municipal waste annually worldwide. Furthermore, the World Bank estimates that overall waste generation will increase to 3.40 billion metric tons by 2050. A well-guided waste management system will allow us to utilise this treasured resource and create energy from our waste.
In Grovagon we lead a sustainable waste resource management for the world of tomorrow. With our long-term partner companies we have been operating in over 20 countries, across three continents, for over 10 years.
We transport non-recyclable non-hazardous waste mostly from Germany, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary to our partner companies which operate incineration plants, cement plants, heat or electric plants. This incineration process produces energy in the form of steam, which can either supply district or industrial heating networks or be converted into electricity using turbines. We are able to deliver any material needed with various kinds of specifications required by the plant.
We provide landfils for any kind of waste from municipal solid waste to industrial or hazardous waste. With our partner companies operating landfills we are also looking for new waste material that we can deliver to landfills. We explicitly cooperate only with highly secured landfill operation systems and include all types of authorisation required.
Hazardous waste can be incinerated, physicochemically treated or stabilised and lay to rest on landfills. Grovagon has been operating with hazardous waste for many years – mainly with high temperature incineration treatments.
Raw materials on our planet cannot last forever. Our waste management process is of such importance, in order to help conserve our natural resources and gain as much out of waste material. We are able to handle all types of material from plastics to municipal- or construction waste, wood, paper, metals and hazardous waste.
